Celebrating 35 Years!

Play & Learn was founded as a non-profit in Fort Washington in 1981 by a team of early education experts and child psychologists. Because of our amazing staff and teachers, we have been able to provide quality care and early education to thousands of children at 11 centers in Montgomery County for 35 years!

Playing & Learning

For young children, play is the path children take to learning. It’s the way they expand their cognitive, social, emotional, language and motor abilities. Play challenges children and helps them understand the world around them. At Play and Learn, we use age-appropriate play – in a nurturing environment – to help children ages six weeks through school-age develop and grow.
