LOCAL MOVES
Local Moves are moves that take place within 100 miles. These moves are billed hourly. Getting your free quote will give you an idea of how long your move should take. Rapid Moving and Storage also offers written binding estimates, so there are no surprises on moving day.

STATEWIDE MOVES
These moves take place within New York State. They can be booked hourly or with a written binding estimate. A written binding estimate is a quote for a specific dollar amount, that will be charged regardless of time spent on the job, or materials used, so there are no surprises on moving day.

INTERSTATE MOVES
These moves take place between two states. They can be booked based on weight of your goods, or as a written binding estimate. A written binding estimate is a quote for a specific dollar amount, that will be charged regardless of time spent on the job, so there are no surprises on moving day. Rapid Moving and Storage typically does interstate moves along the east coast, but we have the authority to travel anywhere in the United States.

IN HOUSE MOVES
Moving from one apartment to another in your building? Have large piece of furniture you want moved out to the garage, or up in the attic? At Rapid Moving and Storage, we want to help you move in any way we can. So, if you would like two strong men to come over to carefully and efficiently move your items, give us a call. This type of move is charged hourly, with no minimum.

SPECIAL ITEMS
Here at Rapid Moving and Storage, we specialize in moving difficult items: pianos (uprights or any size grand), safes, medical equipment, grandfather clocks, or any other special items you may have. Our team members have the proper equipment and training to professionally move these items. We have been the piano mover of choice at the Chautauqua Institution for over 30 years.

FULL OR PARTIAL PACK
Our team knows how to pack your items with the proper materials to ensure they are as safe as possible on your move. We can pack and move every item in your house from your shoes to your dishes to your bookshelves. Some customers will pack most items, but want help with items like china or wall hangings. We can pack as much or as little as you would like, we are here to make your move easy for you.

LOAD/ UNLOAD ONLY
Renting a moving van for a long distance move? Don’t want to do the heavy lifting? We can help carry all your boxes and furniture to load up your moving van for you. This will ensure that your moving van is packed as safely and efficiently as possible. Moving to the area? Often by the time you arrive you are worn down from the trip. We are happy to come and help you unload your moving truck and place items in the appropriate rooms for you. These jobs are charged hourly.

WarehousingWe offer crated residential storage, both short and long term, and commercial storage. We also have car, boat, and RV storage. CROSS DOCKING
Is your company in need of consolidating your shipments in one place before sending them on? We can handle any cross docking that you need. We have multiple loading to docks to receive shipments from tractor-trailers to shorter delivery vans/ trucks. We have also received in numerous shipments for local restaurants/ new builds and delivered them in one shipment, most recently for Olive Garden in Lakewood. Whatever you need, we will do our best to accomodate your project, and your company.

DELIVERIES

We offer a wide range of delivery options, from commercial contracts to a one time, single piece delivery. We currently have agreements with furniture stores, appliance companies, piano transporters, and logistic
companies to take care of their delivery or special delivery needs. If your furniture store, auction house, or appliance store, needs a delivery crew give us a call to discuss how we can help with your deliveries on a regular basis.
